Step into a day in the life of a Childrenswear Stylist at Country Road where creativity, storytelling and attention to detail shape every outfit. From interpreting seasonal trends and building inspiring looks to styling on-set for campaigns and eCommerce, you will bring the collection to life for our youngest customers.
Working closely with Design, Buying, Marketing and Creative teams, you will ensure every look reflects the customer. If you have a strong eye for styling, colour and proportion and love creating beautiful moments through childrenswear, we would love to hear from you!
How you will contribute
Support Styling Manager in styling product for brand campaigns for review
Produce all Childrenswear assets for the brand from Styling Managers’ Directive (eStore, Campaign, Still Life)
Style monthly ‘key looks’ and ‘style notes’ for Newborn, Baby, Child and Teen
Style monthly Childrenswear key looks for EDM shoots and/ or editorials
Style monthly EStore in-situ imagery
Populate eDM folders, post EStore and Campaign shoots
Present and communicate key looks for approval
Style on set all approved outfits and manage agreed daily shot count
Photograph and document approved looks and update gallery tool post shoots
Review and mark up final images and assets with Styling Manager and creative team
Attend Childrenswear brand shoots where required
Respond to customer insights and channel results, where relevant
Style outfits for shoot in line with content requirements and style on set talent/still life.
Capabilities we value
Experience in fashion/children’s styling
Experience in managing photographic shoots
Ability to work collaboratively and to take initiative
Highly organised with the ability to multitask
Strong technical styling skills ‘on body’ and still life
A sound knowledge of MS Office products and Mac
Ability to liaise with internal departments & external agencies
Creative, with a good eye and a strong visual ability.
